Three Wedding Planning No-No's

The intention of this wedding blog is to help brides and grooms to navigate through the planning process. After entertaining at hundreds of weddings, I decided it's time to provide potential brides and grooms with a list of no-no's that I have witnessed over the year in regards to wedding planning. I hope the blog is informative and will guide you in the right direction when planning this very special day in your lives!

1. Do not put off communicating with your entertainer. We place a great emphasis on this-We help you get organized by providing you with a comprehensive planning packet, we offer on-line planning tools and we forewarn you well in advance of your event date via e-mail with a short list of to-dos as we prepare to go over details with you. Also, we are always here whether it is a phone call or an e-mail to assist with any questions you may have.

2. Not setting clear expectations for your entertainment. Even if the expectation is as simple as "I want my guests to feel free to dance and enjoy themselves", it is important to communicate this to us before the event begins. We make sure we are prepared to meet the expectations you have set for your wedding reception.

3. Do not assume a rigid timeline. Don't misunderstand me; timelines are good and an important way to organize the greatest moments of your reception. However, having flexibility and understanding that there could be some bumps in the timeline will allow you to focus on the fun. We have seen brides and grooms that were unable to fully enjoy their reception because they were anxious that the details were not unfolding at the times they were expecting them to. We are professionals and will ensure that your day runs smoothly even if the cake comes out ten minutes later than planned.
