Wedding Reception and Special Events DJ / MC

Weddings and special events are an important, once-in-a-lifetime affairs for our clients. The wedding and special event DJ has to be chosen carefully.

We are looking for talented individuals to work as a part-time (8-24 hours per week-with seasonal fluctuations) mobile DJ/MC for our company. We are looking for great, energetic, well-spoken and well-groomed people to join our team for entertaining at upscale events. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train. Adults over 21 years of age are great for this position, but all others are encouraged to apply. If you meet the following requirements, we welcome you to apply. We offer great pay for great people. Our company entertains in Central NJ (Monmouth and surrounding counties)

Requirements -

1. You must work well with wedding couples, special events clients and guests, and handle the many formal announcements and activities of a wedding/event with ease.

2. Must be able to speak fluent English and have fun with guests, and understand directions and you must have a strong knowledge of all current and past popular music.

3. Must be able to lift some equipment that weighs over 60lbs (to shoulder height).

4. Be available for preparatory work- such as meeting clients for consultations or speaking with prospective customers.

5. A reliable van or truck is needed to carry gear to and from the event and have a valid DL, Car/Van and be able to work weekends.

6. A cell phone is required for communication at events.

7. You must pass our background check, be able to provide a current address and home/cell phone numbers, have a valid driver's license and provide your social security number.

8. YOU MUST BE FREE TO WORK ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS, most of our events are scheduled months in advance.
