BROOKLAKE COUNTRY CLUB – KRISTEN & TYLER
Located in the heart of Morris County, New Jersey, Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park was the perfect venue for Kristen & Tyler to become husband and wife.
Kristen and Tyler’s wedding day was extra special in many ways, the first being that it was held on 4th of July weekend! Guests arrived and were seated while light love songs played until it was time to begin. We started off the ceremony by playing a custom musical piece the bride’s father created, called “The Rain Makes It Green”. After a few beautiful readings were cited, vows were spoken and the rings were exchanged, our bride and groom were officially declared husband and wife, walking back down the aisle to “Best Day Of My Life” by American Authors.

Following the ceremony was a cocktail hour, also held at Brooklake Country Club where we mixed a blend of 90’s Summer Hits to set the mood for the party to come. When the reception was ready to get underway we had a song queued up for every introduction into the ballroom! First up was the parents of the bride to “Bring ‘Em Out” by T.I., followed by the parents of the groom to “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. For the bridal party, the 4 pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen came in to “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO ft. Lauren Bennett and Goon Rock, “Cheerleader” by OMI, “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas and “Forever” by Chris Brown. The Maid of Honor & Best Man entered to “Levels” by Avicii, then as everyone rose to their feet we introduced the newlyweds to “Animals” by Martin Garrix.

Another extra special moment was the first dance, which was performed by the bride’s dad. With guitar in hand he covered Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”. Next was the father/daughter dance to “Cloudbusting” by Kate Bush and mother/son dance to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack. After that we got EVERYONE on the dance floor to celebrate with “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge!
As guests found their seats, we called for the Best Man and Maid of Honor to make their toasts, then played a fun dinner music mix. Once everyone had finished it was time to party, so we got them all up and dancing…and party we did! The cake cutting was ceremony was done during “Marry Me” by Train and was yet another extra special moment, as the new couple shared the first piece with their aunt who was celebrating her birthday. Also, in lieu of the bouquet toss, the bouquet was presented to a dear friend that was getting married the following week! We played the song “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton for the Anniversary Dance / Longevity Spotlight Dance, which we determined the longest married couple. Then dancing continued until the final song, “Home” by Daughtry.

And because the party just wasn’t ready to stop quite yet, we also did “Friends In Low Places” by Garth Brooks (that of course resulted in everyone swaying and singing!), afterwards directing the guests to the back patio for a sparkler send-off. Then it was off to the after party!
We at Create Excitement were honored to be a part of Kristen and Tyler’s special day and could not be any happier for the lovely couple. We wish them love and happiness for many years to come!
