Crystal Springs Resort Wedding: Kelly and Dominick

Looking to get married in the mountains? Then Kelly and Dominick’s big day is the perfect wedding inspiration for you! The two recently wed at the Crystal Springs Resort in Vernon, NJ. Located in the beautiful mountains of Sussex County, this venue boasts multiple indoor and outdoor options with breathtaking views.
The scenery provided the ideal backdrop for the ceremony, where guests were welcomed with a mix of light string instrumentals. After guests were seated, the proud mothers of the bride and groom came down the aisle to Nella Fantasia. Soon after the bridesmaids and Kelly walked down the aisle to Marry Me by Train. After the ceremonial exchanging of vows and rings, our bride and groom started the party early by celebrating down the aisle to Marry You by Bruno Mars.
For cocktail hour we create a mix of Michael Buble, John Legend, Frank Sinatra, and light rock. Our guests then made their way into the reception. The beautiful bridal party and parents of the bride and groom shimmied their way in to Forever by Chris Brown. Last but not least was our bride and groom who entered into the reception to the Original Star Wars Theme Song. When the bride and groom busted through the doors and into the room we had everyone standing and applauding. We transitioned from Star Wars to Pitbull and Christina Aguilera’s Feel This Moment, which got everyone pumped up for a night of dancing and partying. In fact, before we even had the opportunity to play the bride and groom’s first dance song, Love of a Lifetime, guests were on the dance floor!
After the Pitbull dance party, guests found their seats to watch the beautiful moment between Kelly and her father, Jack, as they shared their father/daughter dance to You’re My Hero by Theresa James. Next up was Dominick and his mother Patricia, as they danced to Do I Make You Proud by Taylor Hicks.
Our father of the bride, Jack, formally kicked off the reception with a welcome speech, followed by the best man, Nick. Next up, we called on Jodi, the matron of honor. Typically, the matron of honor offers a tear-jerking speech and a toast, but cookie cutter traditions isn’t something you can always expect from Create Excitement weddings. Jodi came up to the dance floor with a few other friends and put on a live performance of Run DMC’s Tricky.
While guests feasted on their delicious meals, we put together a playlist consisting of the first dance songs of Kelly and Dominick’s wedding guests. Songs included “More” – Andy Williams, “I Want To Grow Old With You” – Adam Sandler, “A Whole New World” – Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, “Truly” – Lionel Richie, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” – Aerosmith,, “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” – Elvis, “At Last” – Etta James, “My Own True Love” The Duprees.
After eating, our guests couldn’t wait to get back on the dance floor. But honestly, can you blame them? I mean we had a live performance by the matron of honor to Run DMC’s Tricky! The rest of the night was an absolute blast and the bride and groom along with their guests danced the night away to a mash up of top hits, freestyle music, and house music.
Here is what our bride and groom had to say about us:
We knew when planning our wedding that the DJ would be one of the most important aspects of the wedding night and what an excellent choice we made in hiring Ben and Create Excitement! Ben was so responsive, really took his time to get to know us and was in constant contact with us during the entire planning process. His suggestions were so helpful and really appreciated! He understood exactly what we needed from our DJ.
From the ceremony, to cocktail hour and throughout the entire reception, Ben captured our style of music perfectly and was such a great DJ and MC. He had the dance floor filled all night long! The only time anyone sat was to catch their breath for a minute and then they were back out on the floor! His professionalism, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and knowledge made our wedding a huge success! We could not have wished for a better experience and cannot thank him enough for making our night so memorable! Our guests have not stopped talking about how great the music was! We highly recommend Ben, Ginette and the entire staff at Create Excitement!
