Depending on when your party or wedding is, consider giving fresh fruit as a favor. It’s simple, tasty, and can be inexpensive. If you’’re having your wedding in the spring or summer, just stop by a local farmer’s market to pick up some fruit. When fruit is in season, you can find it at local markets for a much lower price than typical grocery stores. Hand the fruit out in small paper bags with the date of the wedding stamped on them or just allow guests to pick their own fruit by setting up a small fruit bar. The fruit may not last long, but it can sure be a nice healthy treat after all the indulgent party food!

Give guests a little treat they can enjoy after the wedding or the next day. Some guests may not have had time to enjoy the cake so send them home with a small dessert. Set up a candy bar so guests can create their own goodie bag or try to make the desserts yourself. Make mini versions of popular desserts and serve in a jar for easy transport. We like this cheesecake in a jar recipe. You can also hand out a more classic dessert like mini bottles of milk and a few cookies for guests to enjoy as a late night snack.

After all the fun of the party, guests may need a little pick-me-up in the morning. Send them home with a bag of coffee beans or a mug of dry hot chocolate mix. The next morning all they need to do is add water to enjoy a tasty beverage.

A small flower can also be a nice take home gift. Read more about that on our blog here.
