Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club: Conor and Elena
The Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club is an award-winning venue with exquisite antique details and is nestled along the beautiful Jersey Shore in Monmouth County. It also recently played host to Elena and Conor’s wedding.
The beautiful couple picked our team at Create Excitement to provide the reception’s entertainment, and we delivered one heck of a night. We kicked off the night by introducing the parents, bridal party, and bride and groom to Jersey favorite, Bruce Springsteen’s American Land. This led smoothly into the bride and groom’s custom first dance song, which we are proud to say that we created (please, hold the applause til the end). The song was a mix of Into the Mystic by Van Morrison flavored with a dash of Shut Up and Dance With Me by Walk the Moon.
After the traditional bride and groom dance, the father came out to escort his little girl to their own special song, My Girl by the Temptations. And as tradition has it, the groom and his mother followed suit and twirled around the ballroom dance floor to Forever Young by Rod Stewart.
After a welcome speech by both Conor and Elena’s fathers, the best man and maid of honor gave their noteworthy speeches. Being the lovely couple that they are, Conor and Elena grabbed the mic and thanked everyone for coming out and being apart of their very special day.
While Time of Your Life by Green Day played, Elena and Conor grabbed their hometown friends from Summit and Glen Ridge, and their college pals from Lehigh and Notre Dame for some picture-perfect group photos.
After the drool-worthy dessert portion that was highlighted with some delicious cupcakes, our guests participated in the Anniversary Dance and determined the longest married couple. This was trailed by the Hava Nagila Dance. As anticipated, this packed the dance floor!
We closed out Elena and Conor’s wedding reception with Celine Dion’s It’s All Coming Back to Me Now and you would have thought we brought a chorus with us. All of the guests were belting along to Celine.
With that being said, guests did not want the night to end (and can you blame them?!). This larger-than-life wedding (and its incredible guests) finished out the night at the Tap House in Spring Lake.
Elena and Conor’s wedding was an incredible night filled with lots of love, lots of laughter, and many happy tears.
