The Brownstone – Melissa and Peter’s Wedding

All You Need Is Love
Intimate and romantic, 110 guests gathered at The Conservatory of the iconic Brownstone in Paterson, N.J. that provided the idyllic scenery for the simply elegant wedding ceremony and reception of Melissa and Peter.
The Brownstone is an event venue you may have heard of before. Not from Northern New Jersey? That doesn’t seem to matter with this wedding venue, since it has been featured several time’s on Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. This fabulous event space offers six different rooms, each with their own tastefully designed themes.
To personalize their wedding, Melissa and Peter added touches of music throughout their ceremony. The parents and grandparents of the couple were seated to Air on the G String by Bach followed by All You Need is Love for the processional.
The bride and groom entered the reception into the Grand Conservatory to Praise You – by Fatboy Slim. Their first dance together as husband and wife was danced to a mix of You Are The Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne and the unplugged version of Big Pimpin’ by Jay-Z.
A Great Time Was Had By All
Dinner music included a mix of soft rock including an all time favorite Hotel California and the dance floor playlist included a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy! From the Beatles to Barry White to House of Pain to The Jackson 5. The Gipsy Kings, Tom Petty, the Bee Gees, and Young MC.
The couple’s picture perfect wedding cake was cut to the song Short Skirt, Long Jacket by Cake, and the last dance of Melissa and Peter’s wedding reception was to the duet, Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillatto.
Melissa and Peter’s afternoon wedding at North Jersey’s longtime popular wedding and banquet venue the Brownstone included a fun and varied mix of music genres that had the dance floor full all throughout the reception.
We could not be any happier for this lovely couple. We wish Melissa and Peter years of love and happiness for many, many years to come!
