THE JANE HOTEL IN NEW YORK CITY – ZOE & ELIA
Create Excitement recently had the honor of entertaining at Zoe and Elia’s black-tie wedding at The Jane Hotel in New York City. We provided all the music prior to the ceremony up until the very last song.
The venue
The Jane Hotel is a chic wedding venue located in the West Village, and is known for its grand and eclectic decor. It was the perfect setting for this classy wedding, and we’re so glad we were a part of it.
The wedding
Zoe and Elia were surrounded by so much love from all their friends and family during their wedding. As mentioned during one of the heartfelt speeches by their wedding party, “they never stop seeking excitement.” So naturally, we were invited to create the most exciting wedding ever!
We started the event with the groom and wedding party entered to the soulful sounds of With a Little Help From My Friends by Joe Cocker. And we love the fact that Zoe chose a high vibin’ song for her grand entrance, Jump (For My Love) by The Pointer Sisters. How fun is that?
After their sweet ceremony, which admittedly made our hearts very warm, and our eyes very teary, the newly wed couple recessed down the aisle to You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oates.
Next, the cocktail hour was set to an old school soundscape. Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Nat King Cole were just a few who swooned guests. We were really feeling this vibe, especially considering we were at The Jane Hotel in New York City.
Then after the cocktail hour, the bride and groom received lovely tributes from their friends and families through heartfelt toasts. Before you know it, dinner was served and shortly after, everyone was on the dance floor! The party continued throughout the night, until we wrapped things up with New York, New York by Frank Sinatra.
