THE VERSAILLES BALLROOM AT THE RAMADA – LAURA & JOSEPH

The dazzling Versailles Ballroom at the Ramada in Toms River, NJ was a magical venue for Laura and Joseph to say their vows, and we are happy to say #JamaicanHerDavis was a success! Laura and Joseph had their perfect day.

The ceremony began with the bridesmaids entering to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran (the wedding version featuring Pachelbel’s Canon | Piano Cover – LISTEN HERE). They were followed by the stunning bride, escorted down the aisle by her dad to Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” (piano/cello cover – LISTEN HERE). Once the vows had been read and rings were exchanged the newlyweds walked back up the aisle to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole.

The dramatic high ceilings, large dance floor, expansive bar and cascading crystal chandeliers provided an absolutely gorgeous setting for the reception. The parents and wedding party were introduced into the room to the song “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. Then everyone stood as Laura and Joseph were introduced for the first time as as husband and wife to “Could You Be Loved” by Bob Marley.

During the high energy intro and all the applause, we asked everyone to push in their chair and make their way onto the dance floor toward our bride, groom and wedding party and join them for the first dance of the evening, “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge. This was a definite ice breaker that carried over for the rest of the reception. Laura & Joseph danced their first dance to “From The Ground Up” by Dan + Shay. Next was Laura and her father dancing to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw, followed by Joseph and his mother dancing to “Greatest Love Of All” by Whitney Houston.

After everyone found their seats our own Ben Domena, owner of Create Excitement, gave the blessing, and the 5 groomsmen and the Matron of Honor each gave a short toast. The bride and groom offered a welcome speech, and dinner commenced. During dinner a fun mix of tunes, including “River Flows In You” by Lindsey Stirling, was played.

Once dinner was over it was time to get everyone back on the dance floor! Reggae and Caribbean music are very important to the bride and groom, so we were sure to add it into the mix. Some of the requests made were:
